Eligibility Criteria for the PGWP

- You must have completed a full-time program at a designated learning institution in Canada that is at least eight months in duration. The program should lead to a diploma, degree, or certificate.
- Application Timing:
- Your application for the PGWP must be submitted within 180 days of receiving confirmation (transcript, degree, or diploma) from your institution that you have completed the program.
- Study Permit Status:
- You must have held a valid study permit while studying in Canada, and your study permit must have been valid at the time you applied for the PGWP.
- Program Requirements:
- Your program must be on the list of eligible programs and institutions as defined by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
