Program Categories
The Caregiver Program consists of two main pathways:
- Home Child Care Provider (HCCP) Pilot
- For: Individuals with experience in providing care to children under the age of 18.
- Requirements: At least one year of full-time work experience in child care within the last two years, or equivalent experience in a part-time role.
- Benefits: Opportunity to live and work in Canada while gaining the necessary experience to apply for permanent residency.
- Home Support Worker (HSW) Pilot
- For: Individuals with experience in providing care to adults or elderly persons, including those with disabilities or health conditions.
- Requirements: At least one year of full-time work experience in home support work within the last two years, or equivalent experience in a part-time role.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Caregiver Program, you must meet the following criteria:
- Work Experience: A minimum of one year of full-time work experience in a caregiving role (or equivalent part-time experience) within the last two years.
- Language Proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency in English or French by passing an approved language test.
